i think you'll have to try the trial and error method with exhaust manifolds on that particular ch***is. with regard to the msd box, i would suggest mounting it somewhere inside the cabin so you can hook your laptop up to it and make timing adjustments on the fly. a local guy here is using this setup in a 93 mustang coupe with a radical lsx motor in it with no trouble. he had the msd box mounted inside the car, plugged in and wired up in about an hour.
