how well do these pans fit on 68-72 chevelles.. and do you have to use your motor mounts and headers to clear?

thanks

The pan should have no problem with clearing the cross member or anthing. You should be able to either us one of Shawn kit's or anyother mount and headers.

i forgot to add my only concern with swap pans..
how low they hang.

how low does this one hang? i need one to be no lower than the front x member. i can not afford it to hang down not even a half inch.

i am lowered on circle track springs all around, front x member is 3-3.5" from the ground.

bczee.. your over at chevelles.com too? im bowtieaaron over there

The F-Body and Retro plan should be around about where the x-member is.. CTS-V will hang about 1" below.. the LH8 (Hummer and GM Muscle) will be a little more than the CTS-V pan..

Got with the Retro, F-body or aftermarket (steel) if your concern with low clearance.

I have a ID over there, but not really a regular there..

LS1 is 5.5
CTS-V 6.5
LH8 7.5
LHX 5.5

its about the same cost to mod the LS1pan from HotRodlane.CC but you get 4 quarts of oil only
