Just so everyone knows what will fit and doesn't fit.

LQ9 Block "iron Block" You can not use F-Body low mounting alternator kit because they do not have the bolt holes for the bracket to bolt to.

Only the LS1 and other Aluminum Blocks have the 3 bolt holes needed to do so, unless you feel like drilling them out.

I am now in search of C5 or C6 Alternator Bracket, Power steering pump, alternator and make sure the water pump and harmonic balancer will work with that set-up.

Thanks
Ralph

my 5.3L iron block has been in my 01 z28 for 11K miles no issues and its was drilled out by the guys at vengeance racing... It can be done but just not a bolt on mod

Many have just either left the bolt out or has drilled and tapped the hold. It is not a big problem.

If your switching to either the F-Body or Vette setup (and Trucks), you will also have to change the balancer/pulley to the matching setup, as they have different spacing from the block.

That’s a great price, and with a KWIK A/C the vette set up will fit almost any car. But make sure to get the water pump, and harmonic balancer when doing the swap.
