ultimate goal is to get this car to hit 10's on motor and then spray it with a 100 shot of nitrous.

Suspension is set, only gotta add the anti-roll bar.

Fuel system and computer system is next on the list.

Hi Ravenous,

"Great project, I love those cars, alot of people overlook them for hotrodding." And of those that don't, even a sizeable fraction there overlook these cars for handling prowess.

I'm guessing that with an LS6 iron block, the final weight of the front of this car will still be less than stock. Even though no one seems to think these cars can handle (they seem to get hacked-up strictly for the drag strip nowadays,) they really can, and especially if the front-end is lightened.

Best,

We are installing a HR Anti roll bar which is claimed to be the best in the market and will lift the front end even and straight.

I will run without a front swaybar for now but may add one if i feel the need for better handling.

Had C5 Brakes on it and it made over 600HP @ the crank.
Really miss it but glad i'm into something new.

Hey Shawn,

Got question, we really had a problem with the trans crssmember, do we have the wrong one by chance.

Its holes on the end are really close together and don't seem to work anywhere.

Don't remember seeing any info on haveing to drill new holes.

I ordered a diffrent crossmember but just askiing the question, we needed one to take 3" exhaust under the body.

Good to see They have talked to you, gave them you info this morning.

WE most likely will be installing Dakota Digital Dash too for the project. I may do a complete Tech on the install for the website.

Alittle bit of an update, got our headliner installed, all back interior trim, waiting oon a rear seat, and some headliner trim which i didn't have, also found a nice fiberglass stock hood to keep the weight down.

GMPP Front Accesoires kit should be here by the end of the week, then next week the harness should be off back order and then we should be couple weeks from driving the thing on the road.

Opps forgot about the Digital Dash and Radiator fan kit but other than that it should be pretty close to a driver.

Still gotta get the floor pans installed but that is a minor chore to all the other details.

If I could just sneak in a quick question here - where are those bucket seats from? They seem to fit well.

There is a Monte Carlo Owner who had a pair of these in his car and they actually are much better for sitting and firmer.

These are from a 1998-2002 Trans Am / Firebird

You do need to swap the seat tracks but they are a great fit and very comfortable.

Summit Sells these adapters made by AutoMeter!

ATM-2266 -- Head Coolant -- 12mm x 1/8 NPT $ 8.95ea

ATM-2268 -- Block Oil Press -- 16mm x 1/8 NPT $ 8.95ea

For installation made simple.

There are many places to install these fittings around the block if you want temp and press or in my case running digital dash with a factory computer set-up so i need 2 sensors for one for ecm and one for digital dash.

Thanks
