Welcome everyone! My name is Shawn Henderson and I work in the sales department of BRP and after speaking to countless customers about LSX conversion I saw a need for a more organized LSX conversion based forum. I have been a part of the LSX community since I got my first LS1 in a 2000 WS6 Formula M6 that I wrapped around 2 concrete poles at 130MPH… As with any car guy I bought a faster car 2 weeks later with the insurance money! That insurance money scored me the PR1 Blackbird and later a Z06 and countless other LS1 F-Bodys which ultimately led me to my 3 current LSX conversion projects. I’m also writing the GM LSX Conversion Hand Book for HP Books under the penguin group so got any good tips? Welcome to the site and let’s help put an LSX in anything that runs!

Welcome all and thanks for joining the site and don’t feel bad about the dead bird because I trashed that Formula I ended up with a blackbird and was paid 3K over what I bought the formula for and had put 30K miles on the car! I even jumped an 81 WS6 T/A 40 feet trying to win the Year One Bandit car and will be posting that video on the site soon as well.

here is what was left from the WS6 after the two poles, I hit passengers quarter panel on the first pole never touched ground then nailed the 2nd pole with the drivers side quarter took out a road sign that punctured the gas tank then slide 110 feet into a ditch. I walked away without a scratch and all charges were even dropped against me!

Also this was not the last time I jumped a Firebird… I might not have won the Year One Bandit TA but had one heck of a time putting this TA to rest.

Wow Shawn thats some hardcore stuff, but I like the rides you got after! Nice. I also like the truck with the roof chopped off, I love cutting the roof off of old junky cars and thrashing through the bushes
