Hello, just joined the forum. Great information already posted! I would like to get as much information as possible about installing a 2002 LS1/T56 pullout into my 1967 camaro as possible. Do I need to modify the trans hump? Good place to start the mods to the car? Gas tank, clean way to wire everything? Any information will be super, I'm getting nervous to take on the wiring of everything!!! Thanks in advance...

Looks like everyone passed you up.. well

T56 is a big trans.. depending on how you mound the engine.. being more forward and lower will help out with not modifying the tunnel. But most likely there will be some.

Oil pan. many choices.. but the RetroLX pan seem to be a good choice, a CTS-V or a modded F-body will give good clearance also. Many are also using the Aftermarket steel pans for good clearance.

Wiring.. if your a DIY'er.. there is a lot of documentation on what and how.. many opt to just buy converted or new standalone wiring harness.

It would be better to ask your question on a narrower and more specific area... else wait for Shawn swap Book to hit the stands (should be soon ?).

Tanks, a few choices again.. many have use the Rick's or Valley SS tanks with in tank pumps.. great setup , but costly. Some use the TankInc setup with a oem tank, others have used external pumps.

Good Luck..
