In my car building experience I have never strayed from GM's. After acquiring a 1976 Malibu I started looking for smog legal options and came accross a great deal on a 5.3 and 4L60E combo. from there I've been hooked. I have 4 cars I am building and need to complete my malibu then I have my 63 Nova SS I am building for my girl. If i still have a relationship and a bank account I may go all the way and outfit my 62 impala as well.

Welcome to this Forum.. Yeah. the Gen III/IV family of engine can Hook you very easy... I completed my 1st one in 05, my 71 Chevelle. And now doing my 71 Nova.
