Just joining w/86 Elky questions!

Wasup guys, I'm lookin to gather as much knowledge and help as I can in order to complete my project. I own a 86' Elky that currently has a 40 over 350. It will be replaced with a 2004 trk. 5.3l/4l60. I am looking to buy oilpan and headers to go with other parts that I have acquired in the past few months to get my Horsey up and running. Any info would be greatly appreciated.:confused:

Welcome to the forum... Shawn here has been working on many kits for Gen III/IV swap into many cars and trucks. Do a little research here on the forum and the threads of the swaps being posted. Once you have done that, you will most likely have more specfic questions that would be easier to ask and get questions. Shawn has just completed and published a Swap book and we are all waiting for it to hit the stands.

I'm sure that Shawn will ping in soon, But he is marking a great swap pan that is cast and has a better lower sump to fit many earlier GM Cars as you Elky is.
