I'm swaping an LSX, 6.0 L from a truck, L76, all alluminium motor, whit L92 head in a 69 camaro convertible. I delete the DOD and VVT system and go whit a GMPP carb intake. I change cam for a 3 bolts compcam. I need a new oil pan, like hte LHX oil pan from retroLsx, or a moroso oil pan whit dependant oil filter. Also, i keep my th350 transmission, i i think i need a spacer for the convertor. I have a curved flexplate( that came whit the 6.0L ), it's meen that it will be direct fit for my convertor, i just need to slot de 3 hole of about 1/8 to the center.

My quesiton is, it only have the hughes spacer 3795 for this kind of application ? anyone have the specs of this spacer, for have one made localy ? i'm from quebec, canada, and summit or jegs sell it 45$ + shipping.. it will cost me 100$ here. A friend can make one for me for about 50$. i see somewhere that the crankshaft is shorter of 0.400''. May-be the spacer have 0.400' long, and have the diameter for enter in the flexplat, and have a hole to enter the convertor ?

Thanks.

if you have a GM dealer up there you can get one from them for about 36 US. The spacer is a cheap fix and i would just go to the dealer. Only the flat flex plates from the 6.0L with the 4L80s do not need the spacer. also get the longer bolts needed with the spacer
