Hope too gather some good info from others who have attempted the conversions. My current project is a 66 chevy2 i'm wanting to do a 6.0 turbo swap. In the planning gathering parts stages now. Still undecided on whether to leave efi or carb it. So far i have installed a new front clip to make room for the new power plant. Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated during this build.

I'll suggest Fuel Injection. Might be just me, but I love modern performance in an old school shell.

with a turbo there is not reason to go with a carb! Where are you at in the swap?
Stay FI, especially with the turbo setup. Which clip did you go with?

Actually just in the begining stages as far as motor. Finished the front end swap and getting close on the rear (mini tub). I picked up a 76mm turbo but still doing my research on motor and what all is gonna be involved. Figure if i get a baseline cost on getting it together i can see what upgrades if any can be done the first round.

I went with the checkered racing kit. There are better more race specific kits out there just not needed on my set-up. I'm mainly building a driver with a little street/track racing being done on occasion. My opinion their kits are hard to beat for the money for street applications.
