We also tested out Painless Performances new VVT harness and trans controller kit. The kit work out perfect and install with ease. This is one of the few VVT harness kits and the only one that reuses the trucks OEM ECM and TAC pedal controls. The great part about using the truck ECM it can be tuned with HP tuners for a easy to retrofit VVT option.

How would that work with the gauges?
I have anew LY6 to install in my 2004 Avalanche and there seems to be a concern with using the PCM thats in the truck.

What is the Painless harness' part number, I've tryed searching for it on their site to no avail. No progress on the harness for my LY6 6L90E combo from over your way as yet.. If you happen to be over at Hotrod rev could you maybe chase it up for me and let me know how it's going.

I have VVt Harness number one. Car is not completed yet. Ill let you know
