Greetings all, I am a long time ls series fan.We have a variety of ls powered toys; chevy Silverado pu.,chevy Tahoe, chevy Trailblazer SS(wife's car-I only get to drive it when supervised),2003 50th anaversary vette.I am currently building a 1967 chevy nova ss,using a Scott's hotrod shop front clip and a c-4 vette rear differential/suspension. The power source is a 2005 Cad. escalade 6.0 L LQ9 with 33,000 miles that I picked up for $1300. Transmission duty is a t-56 6 speed from a 1999 Camero. I am just starting to construct a frame to tie the front clip all the way back to the c-4 suspension out of 2x3 .120 wall tubing.Looking forward to reading about other members projects.

Sounds like one wicked Chevy II! With the right suspension these little guys can be deadly on the street or track. Is this going to be a driver or is this a track car? What’s the plans for the Lq9? Are you going to cam or build the motor up to match the rest of the Nova?

Post up some pics so we can see this monster under the build threads!

This is destined to be a fun to drive street toy. As for plans for the lq9,Right now I want to get the basic car put togather and get some street time on it to work out some of the gremlin. Down the road I would like to build the lq9 simular to the build up that Super Chevy did a few months ago with the l92 heads and cam swap.I want to retain the fuel injection with a manifold and injectors swap out to match the l92's and then have the whole set up dyno tuned.
