The amount of better-mannered, more streetable power :rolleyes: with much better fuel economy certainly doesn't hurt either (expecting almost double the gas mileage over the SBC) :D .

Attached are some pics of a used crate motor I picked up. It's awaiting a cam/spring change and conversion to wet sump for installation in my '77 Monza (which was initially slated to receive the SBC 408).
