Hi,
I'm from Australia, I've just purchased an LY6 and 6L90E from the US to fit to my Holden WB one tonne Ute. I'm hoping the eng' & trans' will be here before xmas so I can get stuck into fitting them. I've stripped the ute down to do a full rebuild on her & at the moment it's a bare chassis on stands with the front suspension half stripped ready for rebuilding. I'll keep you updated with my progress. I'll be asking a few (lot) of question along the way so be prepaired.

I believe you got that engine from my engine builder at Hot Rod Revolution! He is a great guy for parts and we talked about your project! Sounds like you got a monster on your hands once you get that under the hood we definitely are going to need to see some pictures! Start a build thread under the members build thread section. Also to post pictures just set up a www.photobucket.com account and link them with the IMG text under the photo.

Yea I did get it from Hotrod Revolution, I knew they were moving shop lately can you tell me if their phone number and email are still the same as they used to be? I'm trying to contact them but don't seem to be having any luck.

I know Barts been at the new shop getting the lift, engine room and ect. set up so hes not been in his old office much. Shoot him a email at HotRodRev@gmail.com i know hes got the comp set up.

He did show me the Perth mag you sent him tho. The prices for LS parts you guys are paying down there is crazy! If you need a solid supply of parts from the US let me know we can box you up a set off parts and you could make a killing! i saw CNCed L92 heads for 8600!

Thanks Shawn, I've been sending emails to hotrodrevolution@gmail.com, no wonder there hasn't been any replies. The price of lsx parts is stupid over here. If I was to purchase the same eng-trans combination over here with all the pcm's etc, it would have set me back approx 10-12k aud not the 3780 aud it did. you gotta love the internet.

I'll be getting a few bits and peices for the LY6 once it lands, so I'll drop you and Bart a line to get some quotes.
