There are a few differences in Gen 3 wiring harnesses over the years and models.

Corvette
1) All Y-body Corvette harnesses are drive by wire
2) 97-98 Corvette harnesses are configured different than 99-04 models
3) 97-00 use separate MAF and IAT sensors, 01+ use a 5 wire MAF/IAT

F-body
1) All F-body harnesses are for a cable driven throttle body
2) 1998 harnesses are configured differently than 99 and later models
3) Two variations in the transmission section are available for the 4L60E or T56

LSx Truck 1999-2002
1) All use a cable driven throttle body
2) All use different fuel injector connectors than their car counterparts
3) 99-00 use separate MAF and IAT, 01+ use a five wire MAF/IAT
4) There are several variations in the transmission section

LSx Truck 2003-2006
1) All use drive by wire except Express vans

An additional note to the truck harnesses, the flex-fuel engines use an LS2 style injector vs. the normal gas engines that use the smaller style truck injector.

Also, on pretty much all of these vehicles, around '01 they phased out EGR systems. So you may find truck engines and camaro engines with no EGR wiring on them in the later years.
